Terms of service

These terms are between you and Company legal name and cover the Map Whisperer extension, website and subscription. By using Map Whisperer you agree to them. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf.

Your subscription

• Subscriptions are per member and bill monthly or yearly, in advance, through Stripe. Current prices are on the pricing page.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• Seats you add are charged immediately for the rest of the period. Seats you remove come off at renewal.
• If a payment fails, we may suspend access after your paid period ends until it’s resolved.
• We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice before changing the price of an existing subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
• Prices exclude taxes unless shown otherwise.

Fair use

Messages are unlimited, subject to this rule: after 100 messages in 24 hours, you can send one message every 5 minutes until your count drops. Each seat is for one person. You may not share logins or automate use of the service, and we may suspend accounts that do.

Acceptable use

You must follow the law and the terms of any map or data service you use with Map Whisperer. You’re responsible for having the right to access and use the data, and for what you do with the results. Don’t use the service to break security measures, overload third-party services, or reverse engineer or resell it.

AI answers and map data

Answers are generated by AI from third-party data. Either can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check anything important against the original source. Map Whisperer isn’t a survey, legal, engineering, planning or safety tool, and shouldn’t be the only basis for decisions in those areas.

Your content

You keep your rights in what you put in and get out. You give us permission to process it only as needed to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running, but don’t promise it will be uninterrupted. Third-party maps can change or block access at any time. We may change features, and will give reasonable notice of changes that significantly reduce what you’ve paid for.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is”, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.

Ending the service

You can stop at any time. We may suspend or end access if you seriously breach these terms. If we end the service without cause, we’ll refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Governing jurisdiction.
